This tool’s got you covered! if you’re whipping up slides for a self-paced course, creating videos for microlearning, sketching out storyboards for an instructor-led session, or building interactive eLearning content, planning just got a whole lot easier. This tools helps you estimate timelines for common ID tasks, such as: scriptwriting, video production, and quality assurance, etc... Add all your tasks, enter the details (like how many slides, pages, or minutes), choose the complexity, and boom! you get a training development estimating for the projects you are working on in seconds!

HOW TO USE

  1. Access the Estimator Tool: Click the link to go directly to the app: Launch the Estimator.
  2. Add Your Tasks: - Select the task type (e.g., content analysis, slide development, video production). - Enter the number of units (slides, pages, or minutes). - Choose the complexity level (Simple, Moderate, or Complex).
  3. Calculate the Total Time: - Click the "Calculate Total Time" button to see the estimated hours for your project.
  4. Add Contingency Time (Optional): - Select a contingency percentage to account for unexpected delays.
  5. Export Your Plan: - Download your project plan as a PDF. - View a clear visual pie chart breakdown of your tasks.
